Obituary:

Evelyn Delores Housel, 77, of Dundee, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Union Hospital at Dover with her husband and son at her side following a period of declining health.

Born in Bowerston, O. on December 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Cyril "Shorty" and Helen M. (Scott) Garner.

Evelyn graduated from Conotton Valley High School, and then married her lifelong friend and companion, Donald E. Housel. Together, they greatly enjoyed traveling. Evelyn enjoyed being an Avon Lady for more than 37 years, knitting, and sewing.

Most importantly, she was a devoted and loving mother and wife. Evelyn will be deeply missed by her husband, Don; her son, Allen (Dianne) Housel of Columbus; and her siblings, Jean (Carl) Ickes and Russell (Joan) Garner, both of Canton.

She is scheduled for Cremation. No public visitation or services are scheduled.
